Skills training in soap-making, tailoring, and basket-weaving for 42 widows across three villages in Momo Division

We are dedicated to improving the livelihoods of widows by equipping them with practical skills that foster economic independence and long-term self-reliance. Through targeted vocational training programs, we empower vulnerable women with the knowledge, confidence, and resources needed to generate sustainable incomes and support their families.
In Momo Division, 42 widows across three villages successfully participated in skills training programs focused on soap-making, tailoring, and basket-weaving. These marketable skills provide participants with opportunities to start small businesses, access local markets, and create additional sources of household income.
Beyond technical training, the program promotes entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and peer support, enabling widows to build stronger social networks and improve their overall well-being. By investing in their skills and potential, we help transform lives, reduce vulnerability, and strengthen community resilience.
Our commitment extends beyond training by encouraging continued mentorship and support, ensuring that participants can effectively apply their skills and achieve lasting economic empowerment.
